Finding out about the world is important! There are loads of ways of finding out more information without having to buy the paper every day! here are some UK based websites we think kids will enjoy.
What should kids do if the news they hear or read is distressing?
Talk to your parents, check if the news story is true, discuss with another
adult (eg: teacher), discuss with friends and see how they feel about
the news story.
